“Yes! Phenix is spelled correctly”: 

Is the first thing you’ll hear Rev Redden say as she laughs while being interviewed.  “You see, just as the Beatles spelled their name which is also spelled Beetles, new artist does that also.  I just think people have to get used to it. By all means I’m not the first to spell Phenix that way if you look it up in an encyclopedia you’ll see that is another way of spelling it. I just think people are so used to the City of Phoenix till it’s just hard to think of it in any other spelled format.  

Redden started Phenix Records & Recordings Ltd. In 2004 with the help of then Secretary of State Mr. Todd Rokita.  “Back then it was me, my two sons Timothy and Terry, Neil “Super” Singleton and his wife Charlotte and together we made up The Spirit of Truth”.

It was quite a tough road, I had a steady flow of background vocals that I had to let go for one reason on another. Mainly because after I had worked so hard all my life in the music industry many would take my kindness as a weakness in that they wanted to do it their way and take over.  Or they would

not show up for rehearsal, sometimes they would show for rehearsal and not for the actual performance. Some didn’t want to rehearse at all but wanted to be on the different television shows anyway.

Recording Company started in 2003 in Northern Indiana and has grown considerably. It is known for introducing independent and virtually unknown talent to the world of music. The company was started by the Rev. Tina L. Redden and signed its first Gospel Group "The Spirit Of Truth" of which Rev. Tina Redden and Rev. Neil "Super" Singleton are cast as lead singers in 2004. The Group consisting of Rev. Tina L. Redden (Lead Vocalist) Rev. Neil Singleton (Second Lead Vocalist, 6 Time World Champion Kickboxer, Winter Game Olympian, Guitarist) Timothy Redden (Drummer, Back Up Vocalist) Evangelist Charlotte Singleton (Keyboardist, Saxophonist, Backup Vocalist) ,Carletta-ellis-Rivera, and Terry Redden (Engineer)made its international debut in the Fall of 2004.

With the Groups third CD in international ears, as well as radio air play in over 90 Countries and on sell with records giants such as Tower Records, Best Buy; PRRL has its foot in the musical door. PRRL's Gospel Groups received much drive from being given venues to sing for the US Military across the Country and overseas opportunities.
